1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you access a site or app. They allow recognizing the device, remembering preferences and measuring usage.
2. Types of cookies we use
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, third-party marketing cookies, or any technology that tracks you outside of Frendi.
- Strictly necessary: authentication, session, security, language. They do not require consent.
- Functional: remember your preferences (theme, voice, selected avatar).
- Product telemetry (web only): measures aggregated feature usage for improvement. Requires your consent.
- Payment cookies (Stripe, web only): issued by partners for checkout fraud prevention.
3. No tracking on iOS
Inside the Frendi iOS app we do not collect data that is linked to you or your device for tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
We do not use advertising SDKs, ad-attribution, fingerprinting, or data sharing with data brokers.
Because there is no tracking, the app does not show Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt.
4. Managing cookies
You can accept, refuse or revoke non-essential cookies in the consent banner (web only) or app settings. You may also block cookies in your browser settings — this may degrade functionality.
5. Changes
This Policy may be updated. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
